How NTRX Cam Handles Information

This page explains what the NTRX Cam iOS app accesses on your device, how it is used, and which Apple-related purchase and permission flows apply.

Summary

NTRX Cam is a camera effects app. The app uses your device camera, microphone, and photo library permissions so you can preview effects, record videos, and save media to your device.

NTRX Cam does not require account creation to use the app. We do not intentionally collect or store your camera photos or recorded videos on our own servers through the app features shown in this version of NTRX Cam. Most image and video processing happens on-device.

Information The App Accesses

Camera. Used to display the live preview and render real-time visual effects.
Microphone. Used when you record videos with audio.
Photo Library Add Access. Used to save recordings and exports to your device Photos library.
On-device app storage. Used to store local preferences, favorites, onboarding status, and local media metadata.
Purchase status. Used to determine whether NTRX Pro is active and which features are available.
Anonymous usage analytics. Anonymized events about how the app is used (such as which effects are opened, recording actions, and paywall views), associated with a randomly generated identifier stored on your device.

How We Use Information

To run the camera preview and apply effects in real time.
To record videos and save them to your device.
To remember your local settings, favorites, and onboarding state.
To restore purchases and confirm whether your device has access to paid features.
To maintain, secure, and improve the app.

How Purchases Are Handled

In-app purchases and subscriptions are processed by Apple using your Apple Account. We do not receive your full payment card number or full Apple billing credentials.

Apple may provide purchase-related status information that allows the app to determine whether Pro access should be unlocked.

Local Processing And Storage

NTRX Cam is designed so that camera processing, depth-based effects, person segmentation, LiDAR-assisted rendering, and many effect calculations run locally on your device.

Media you record through the app is saved to your device storage or your Photos library when you choose to save it.

Analytics

NTRX Cam collects anonymous usage analytics to understand how the app is used and to improve it. This includes events such as effect opens, recording actions, saves, and paywall interactions, together with the app version and a randomly generated identifier created on your device. This identifier is not linked to your name, email, or any account, and we do not collect your photos, videos, location, or contacts.

Analytics are processed by TelemetryDeck (telemetrydeck.com/privacy), a privacy-focused analytics service that receives data in anonymized form. Analytics data is used solely for product analytics and is not used for advertising or tracking.

Information Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use the app to serve third-party advertising.

Depending on the feature you use, limited information may be processed by service providers that help deliver the app, such as Apple for App Store distribution, subscriptions, and purchase management, and TelemetryDeck for anonymized usage analytics.

Data Retention

Content recorded by you is retained on your device or in your Photos library until you delete it. Local app preferences and cached purchase status may remain on your device until you delete the app or clear the related device data.
